Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce's NOVABizPAC
McLean, VA - The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce's NOVABizPAC recently made their endorsement of Delegate Barbara Comstock for re-election to the House of Delegates in the 34th District.
In response to the endorsement, Delegate Comstock said, "Keeping our business community strong is a top priority for Northern Virginia. I am proud to have the support of those who are creating jobs and a healthy economy for our area. I look forward to continuing to work with our business and community leaders to make Virginia the best place to live, work, start a business, and raise a family."
"I particularly appreciate the recognition by the Chamber of my legislation that passed with their help, HB 33 ("The Fair and Open Competition in Government Contracting Act") requiring competitive bidding on any public projects. This legislation is already credited with saving up to $400 million on Phase 2 of Dulles Rail and it will save millions more as we work on transportation projects throughout the Commonwealth."
Scott McGeary, Chairman of NOVABizPac said, "The PAC is proud to endorse Delegate Comstock for re-election. She works hard for her constituents, and her leadership assures rail to Dulles is being built with cost-savings to the taxpayers. She is a strong advocate who works to protect and promote the interests of the entire Fairfax County community, the Fairfax Chamber, and its members and we look forward to continuing that relationship in the future."
