Delegate Barbara Comstock Endorsed by Virginia Credit Union League

McLean, VA - This week, Delegate Barbara Comstock received the endorsement of the Virginia Credit Union League (VCUL), a trade association for the member-owned Credit Unions in Virginia, for her re-election campaign to Virginia's 34th District of the House of Delegates.

In a statement released by VCUL, Rick Pillow, President of the Virginia Credit Union League, said, "Each of these lawmakers has been a friend to member-owned credit unions, including some who have introduced or co-sponsored legislation on our behalf. These lawmakers understand how their actions on legislation affect the ability of Virginia's credit unions to continue to provide affordable financial services to working families across the Commonwealth."

In response to receiving the endorsement from the Virginia Credit Union League, Delegate Barbara Comstock said, "I have worked with our credit union community for over 20 years since I worked in Congressman Frank Wolf's office, and I continued to work with them since being elected to the House of Delegates. Credit unions help both families and small businesses in our community and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. Our family has membership in two credit unions and I appreciate the services that credit unions provide to my constituents across the 34th district."

The Virginia Credit Union League is a trade association representing 172 member-owned credit unions in the Commonwealth. Credit unions help provide affordable loans and financing to Virginia families and businesses.
