All Fairfax County public schools and offices will be closed Monday,
February 8. Â The following activities in schools and on school grounds
are canceled:

⢠   interscholastic contests
⢠   team practices
⢠   field trips
⢠   middle school after-school programs
⢠   professional learning and training courses
⢠   all adult and community education classes
⢠   recreation programs
⢠   community use activities
Custodians and building engineers are not expected to report for work.

County will open two emergency warming centers/shelters today, Feb. 7, at 12
p.m. (noon) to assist county residents who are without power as a result of the
