Comstock Presented Governor’s Proclamation for

“McLean Centennial Day”

 

June 28, 2010 (McLean, VA) – On Saturday, June 26, 2010, Delegate Comstock joined The Honorable Charles Robb, The Honorable Vince Callahan, Congressman Frank Wolf and hundreds of McLean Citizens for the McLean Centennial Celebration. 

Delegate Comstock presented a proclamation from Governor McDonnell, which declared June 26, 2010 as “McLean Centennial Day.” 

“It was great to hear the stories of our community’s history from so many distinguished, long time McLean residents,” said Comstock.  “I commend the Board, the staff and the volunteers who worked with McLean and Great Falls Celebrate Virginia and the McLean Community Center to bring together this wonderful commemoration of the 100th anniversary of our community.”

Delegate Comstock will be hosting a reception for all of those involved with producing the McLean Centennial Celebration on July 9, 2010 at 7p.m.
