The Comstock Connection

Dear Friend,

Today we began the 2012 Legislative Session of the Virginia General Assembly and I was sworn in for my second term in the Virginia House of Delegates.  This year's 60-day "long" session is scheduled to adjourn on Saturday, March 10.  I was appointed to serve on the Commerce and Labor, Transportation, and Science and Technology Committees.  I have introduced a number of bills dealing with jobs and the economy, transportation, and education, which you can see on Virginia's Legislative Information System.  It is a privilege to serve the 34th house district, which includes McLean, Great Falls, parts of Vienna, and parts of Potomac Falls.

This evening, the Governor will deliver the State of the Commonwealth Address to the Joint Houses of the General Assembly at 7 p.m.  A webcast of the Governor's address will be available on his website.
