Delegate Barbara Comstock To Address Republican National Convention Today


McLean, VA - Delegate Barbara Comstock (R-34), Co-Chair for the Virginia Romney-Ryan campaign, will address the 2012 Republican National Convention during today's afternoon session.


Delegate Comstock will speak at approximately 3:45 P.M.(ET) from the main podium inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum. She will also be giving the seconding to the nomination of Governor Mitt Romney at approximately 5:00 P.M. with the Virginia Delegation. These times are subject to change.

About Delegate Barbara Comstock


Delegate Barbara Comstock, a resident of McLean, Virginia was elected in November 2009 to represent the 34th District (parts of Fairfax and Loudoun County) in the Virginia House of Delegates and was re-elected in 2011.


In the summer of 2010, Delegate Comstock was selected as one of 50 state legislators to participate in the "Emerging Political Leaders" program sponsored by the State Legislative Leaders Foundation and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. This past year, she was also recognized by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce with "The Free Enterprise Award" which honors a legislator who championed free market principles during the 2012 legislative session.
